DAY 1: Departure from San Juan or USA
Board your overnight transatlantic flight to Madrid

DAY 2: Barajas Airport - Madrid
Meeting at Madrid
Airport and transfer to Hotel. Free time to rest. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3: Madrid
Morning sightseeing tour includes Puerta del Sol, Plaza España with its monument to Cervantes, the Parliament, Cibeles Fountain, visit to Prado
Museum with its priceless art treasures. Also visit the Royal Palace, an imposing edifice built by the Bourbons, was the royal family's official residence until 1931.Today, it is run by the Spain's National Trust and used by the king for the states receptions Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: Madrid - Avila - Segovia
After breakfast we begin our to Avila, a lovely 16th-century Spanish city. Avila has changed very little since the days of St. Teresa, to whom the city is dedicated. St. Teresa, a great mystic, was the first woman to be named a Doctor of the Church. We visit the cathedral that contains many of her relics, the monument marking her birthplace, and the Carmelite Convent where her Miraculously pierced heart rests in a glass reliquary. Later we drive to Segovia, a charming city that possesses a multitude of important historical monuments such as the magnificent Lady of the Cathedrals church and a 2,000 year old Roman aqueduct. Return to Madrid for overnight.

DAY 5: Madrid - Toledo - Granada
This morning, we will say farewell to Madrid. On our way to Granada we will visit Toledo and view it's marvelous 13th century Gothic cathedral and the
church of Santo Tome with one of El Greco's most famous paintings. Continue to Granada just where we arrive just in time for dinner.

DAY 6: Granada - Seville
After breakfast we will take a guided tour of Granada. Our sights today will include Alhambra, a mighty yet graceful citadel that was planned by the 13th-century Moorish ruler. Amble through the water gardens of the Generalife, the royal summer residence. Later this afternoon we'll arrive in Seville.

DAY 7: Seville
Our local guide will take us on tour of Seville. Visit Maria Luisa Park, Drive to the Plaza de España, the Gold
Tower. Visit the cathedral with Columbus tomb, the world's largest Gothic edifice. Stroll through the narrow lanes of the Santa Cruz quarter. The rest of the day is at leisure. Tonight we'll have Andalusian night out and enjoy flamenco show.

DAY 8: Seville - Guadalupe
After breakfast we continue our journey for Guadalupe, the city and the monastery and an exceptional illustration of four centuries of Spanish religious architecture. Guadalupe symbolizes two significant events in world history that occurred in 1492: the re-conquest of the Iberian Peninsula by the Catholic kings and Christopher Columbus' arrival in the
Americas. Its famous statue of the Virgin became a powerful symbol of the Christianization of much of the New World. Dinner and hotel accommodations.

DAY 9: Guadalupe - Lisbon - Fatima
This morning we leave Guadalupe for
Fatima, but on the way we will stop and see Lisbon. Our panoramic tour of Lisbon will include Belem Tower and Jeronimo's Monastery with the tomb of Vasco da Gama. Continue to Fatima for dinner and overnight.

DAY 10 & 11:  Fatima
Celebrate Mass at the Little Chapel of the Apparitions. Touring Fatima
, we see the Basilica, the site of Francesco and Jacinta's graves, the Hamlet of Aljustrel, where the children lived, and Valinhos, the site of Our Lady's appearance after the children's return from prison. Follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra (Sacred Way) culminating in the Chapel of Calvary that overlooks all of Fatima. Join pilgrims from around the world in an evening candlelight procession to pray the rosary. Don't forget your white handkerchief for the Adeus farewell, when pilgrims wave a loving farewell to the statue of Our Lady of the Rosary. Evening at free time to explore, participate in the candle lighting ceremony and reflect

DAY 12: Fatima - Lisbon  to USA/Puerto Rico.
Return home as our journey of Spain and Portugal end today, but beautiful memories will be with us for many years to come.
